Theology: Major sin, Faith & Absolute Obedience to rulers

Major Sin, Imaan (Faith) & Obedience to rulers

Bismillah

Hudhayfa ibn al-Yaman reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ‘Rulers after me will come who do not follow my guidance and my Sunnah. Some of their men will have the hearts of devils in a human body.
I said, “O Messenger of Allah, what should I do if I live to see that time?” The Prophet said:
You should listen and obey them even if the ruler strikes your back and takes your wealth, even still listen and obey.’

It is obvious that this hadith is a fabrication from the early Muslim rulers and their supporters due to this report suiting their agendas and violating clear Qur’anic verses and the known and agreed upon history of the Salaf, which includes the noble, revolutionary stances of Imams of Ahlulbayt, like Zayd b. Ali.

Then the Qur’an stated, “So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever].” (Surah 76:24)

The verses shows that this command of God is mutlaq (unconditional).
How can one obey the rulers when they disobey God & call for evil? How can one tolerate oppression against the will of God and the humiliation of the faithful? Obedience to the evil and sinful Muslim rulers is an invention (bida’a) in religion & it is a lie upon God & his truthful Messeneger.

Then the Qur’an states, “Those who do not judge/rule by what Allah has sent down, such people are disbelievers (kafirun).”

“Those who do not judge/rule by what Allah has sent down, such people are oppressors (dhalimun).”

“Those who do not judge/rule by what Allah has sent down, such people are deviators (fasiqun). (Surah 4:44-47)

Those who rule by with a law that is other than God’s is an oppressor, an evil-doer, & a disbeliever!

The Qur’an declares, “The Hukm (Legislating, Commands, Judgment) is for none but Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him, that is the (true) straight religion, but most men know not.” [Qur’an Chapter 12: 40]

If one obeys a human in the way they are supposed to and obligated to obey the absolute king (God Almighty), then this leads to kufr.

Moreover, when one observes the hadith literature, you find reliable hadiths that corresponds with the Qur’an theme, corresponds with established history of the Fatimid Alid Imams of Ahlulbayt and it resonates with human reason & intuition.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said:
“No one who commits Zina is a believer at the moment when he is committing Zina; no one who steals is a believe at the moment when he is stealing; no one who drinks wine is a believer at the moment when he is drinking it; and no robber is a believer at the moment when he is robbing and the people are looking on.”

English translation : Vol. 5, Book 46, Hadith 4874

In this hadith, it is shown that the one who commits major sin against the absolute law & authority of God is in a state of evil sin & rebellion, which results in a type of kufr. This type of kufr is referred to as Kufr Ni’ma. The meaning of Kufr Ni’ma is to be oblivious to the blessings and commands of God Almighty.

If this is the case for an average Muslim, then what is the case for the Muslim leaders, who are given the great responsibility of enacting God’s law on earth? In Islam, sovereignty only belongs to God alone! Therefore, there is no king, no sovereign, no ruler or legislator apart from the Creator.
