Ahlul-Kitab took their rabbis as lords besides God, are some Muslims doing the same?

Bismillah

Allah says, ‘They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah’ (9:31).

Dr Muhammad al-Mass’ari: “The following came in respect to the Tafsir (explanation) of this Ayah (verse), from ‘Adi bin Hatim, may Allah be pleased with him: [I came to the Prophet (saw) while I had a gold cross around my neck. He said: “O ‘Adi! Remove this idol from you neck!” He said: So I cast it off. I stood by him and he recited from Surah Bara’ah (i.e. At-Tawbah): “They took their rabbis and monks as lords besides Allah (9:31)”. He (‘Adi) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, we did not worship them”.

He said: “Did they not make Haram what Allah made Halal and then as a consequence you made it Haram. And they made Halal what Allah made Haram, and then as a consequence you made it Halal?” I replied: “Indeed, we did”. He responded: “Then that was their Ibadah (worshipping) of them”.

In another narration he (saw) said: [That is true, however they used to make Halal what Allah had made Haram and so they (the people) made it Halal. They made Haram what Allah made Halal, and then they made it Haram].”

Muslims need to be wary of treacherous government scholars like the Madkhalis and others who are subservient to their rulers instead of being subservient only to Rabb al-Alameen. Those corrupt rulers who openly claim sovereignty and implicitly claim lordship alongside the only Lord have become the lords of people!

Do they not know that lordship, kingship and legislation belongs to God alone?

How can these so called scholars forbid that which Allah has made halal, and how do they permit that which is haram? Who gave them this authority?

You would find both shia and sunni scholars fall into this great tyranny, so beware of this deception o Ummah of Muhammad.

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, most of the hypocrites in my nation are among its reciters.”

How ironic is it that men who claim to represent the law & religion of God are often times the ones abusing it the most?

It is the one who claims to rule by the verdict of God, who violates the Divine law and replaces his own will & desires and then commits tyranny in the land, which then makes the people distant from religion.

Qur’an: When they are told, “Do not spread corruption in the land,” they reply, “We are only peace-makers!” (2:11)

This is the real Taghut that should be removed immediately.

The Qur’an states: ‘Have you not seen those (hypocrites) who claim that they believe in that which has been sent down to you, and that which was sent down before you, and they wish to go for judgement (in their disputes) to the taghut (false judges) while they have been ordered to reject them. But Shaitan (Satan) wishes to lead them far astray.’ (4:60)

All idols need top break, not just statues & graves, the idols of tyranny need to break!
